IAPMO Oceania Celebrates World Plumbing Day
Last week, we celebrated World Plumbing Day at the IAPMO Oceania office with a barbecue at the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre facility. We brought together staff and trainers from PCAC along with plumbing apprentices, who all enjoyed a great 'snag' and the chance to connect.
World Plumbing Day, held annually on March 11, highlights the vital role plumbing plays in public health and safety. It emphasizes the importance of clean water, sanitation, and waste management in preventing disease and protecting our environment. The day also honors the hard work of plumbers worldwide who provide these essential services.
Our event was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the plumbing industry's contributions, discuss innovations, and promote collaboration toward improving standards. It also served as a reminder of the important role we play in building a healthier, more sustainable world, and we look forward to continuing these efforts.
